Summer Vacation

Is finally here. And we're getting more sunny hours each week, so our weekly schedules are organized around the weather forecast. Here is a pic of the yard as it looks now, with raised beds in and full, but minus the teeny sprouts that we're finding of micro mix and the rather hearty broccoli plants. Also notice our cool new wheelbarrow.

Projects for the next month or so include: spring cleaning of house (top to bottom, and we mean thoroughly), painting the outside of the house, and getting ready for Aunt Karen's visit. And if some work gets done in my office (writing syllabi for fall, checking the book edits, and writing an article), that would be grand.
