Some thoughts on a crisis.

I have been guilty of complaining (a lot recently) about money, especially as we think about buying a house and how much a couple has to earn out here to own something larger than 700 square feet. But when such a calamity strikes, it puts into perspective exactly how much extra we do have. There are lots of ways to support emergency and recovery efforts in Haiti. Please donate to a good cause, like Doctors without Borders. What I donated is the equivalent of two meals in a restaurant-- not much of a sacrifice, but still--I hope--a helpful contribution.
